The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) is an enriching youth development program for young Americans aged between 10 and 18. The U.S. Navy proudly sponsors this valuable program and is supported by the U.S. Coast Guard. Its primary mission is to cultivate and develop future leaders of character by offering diverse practical training opportunities. Cadets can engage in activities that include seamanship, sailing, aviation, security training, and various STEM-related pursuits, among many others. Additionally, the program strongly emphasizes instilling essential values such as patriotism, courage, and self-reliance in all participants.
The Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC) is a youth program within the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) for young people aged 10-13. It's designed to introduce them to maritime and military life, preparing them for potential entry into the Naval Sea Cadet Corps later. NLCC focuses on leadership, discipline, and maritime skills while fostering a sense of pride and confidence.
